Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center is a major element of and partner in the Life Cycle Management Command. As a full life-cycle engineering support provider-of-first-choice for all ground combat and combat support weapons and vehicle systems, develops and integrates the right technology solutions to improve Current Force effectiveness and provide superior capabilities for the Future Force. The Research Business Group leads many of the Army Future Force Science and Technology Objectives. It is responsible for leading research in not only combat and tactical vehicle technology, but also for a wide variety of logistics equipment, water generation and purification, fuels and lubricants, military bridging, countermine equipment, and much more.
