Job Description:
Direct Corporate income tax matters including Federal, multi-state and international compliance, audits, planning, accounting and acquisitions for the Company. Up to 10% annual travel may be required. Ensure appropriate management and compliance with sales & use tax and property tax. Develop income tax strategy, manage and multi-state (may become international) income tax compliance functions. Sign federal and state returns as well as related filings. Address internal controls regarding domestic income taxes. Determine effective tax rate. Responsible for appropriate tax accounting (current and deferred taxes, tax provisions, and footnote disclosures). Advise on domestic and cross border transactions, including acquisitions and business ventures. Coordinate interactions with outside advisors. Develop and implement tax deferral/savings strategies. Direct federal and state audits. Sustain filing positions and negotiate settlements. Special projects as needed, which could include advice on executive compensation and other human resource matters. Experience: Job Related Experience: Requires 9 plus years progressive experience in Corporate income tax required.Management Experience: Minimum 3 years management experience required.Education: Undergraduate degree in accounting required. CPA certification required. Masters of tax degree preferred.
