Job Description:
Facilities Operations Summary: Perform assigned specialized building equipment maintenance tasks in an effort to maximize equipment efficiency and prolong usable life. Maintain, install, lubricate, and adjust all types of equipment including but not limited to various types of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. Respond to and investigate service calls. Support operation of the building energy management system. This individual must be available 24 x 7 for emergency response as situations arise. This individual must maintain a positive attitude, work effectively individually and on a team, and possess strong customer service skills. Must observe and comply with all standard safety codes. Reporting to the Facilities Operations Manager, the HVAC Mechanic will have day-to-day supervision provided by the Operations Foremen. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years experience in the trade as a journeyman.
