Qualifications:
The successful candidate will support the Corrective Action & Real Estate Services Group with land development, solid waste, parks and recreation facility projects, and municipal infrastructure for public and private clients. This person must show an understanding of the interrelationship among multiple disciplines in the creation of designing projects, and must be able to demonstrate the ability to produce quality work in an efficient manner.
Candidates must have a desire and aptitude to learn and apply new techniques, and have experience with deadline-oriented civil engineering settings and knowledge of various aspects of Land Development design. Those interested should be able to perform routine design functions such as preparing grading, utility, and layout plans, while also taking direction from engineers to research drawings, catalogs, sketches, etc. Candidates should have a desire to coordinate multiple areas of design with other disciplines (including structural, electrical, and plumbing).

Qualifications:
- 2 to 7 years experience with specialization in preparing grading, utility, and layout plans
- AutoCAD 2004 or more recent
- Autodesk Land Development Desktop and/or Civil 3D
- Microsoft Word and Excel
- Technical school training a minimum
- Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of positive interaction with people
- Graphics skills (Photoshop, PageMaker, etc.) a plus
- AutoTurn and MicroStation a plus
