Summary The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision, training and development of project and payroll accounting staff, and provides accounting oversight on multiple construction projects. The Accounting Supervisor collaborates with the Business Unit Controller to maintain the accounting functions according to legal and financial standards. Typically, this individual reports directly to the Business Unit Controller. Qualifications ?Bachelor degree is required. Six years of accounting experience; which includes two years of direct supervisory experience and two years of construction experience, required. ?Analytical and problem-solving skills, proficient with a 10-key calculator by touch. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and an applied knowledge of computer accounting applications is required. Good oral and written communication skills are a must, as is the ability to work well with people while in a supervisory role.
