Job Description:
The senior manager will manage the development of finance\'s implementation plan, manage relationships and collaborate between different business units (business, risk, model development and the other senior managers of the finance team. In addition the senior manager will direct the activities of multiple senior finance business consultants engaged in the determining and documenting the business, data and functional requirements to support the development of certain Will collaborate with business, risk personnel and a model development team to determine and analyze the information needs and functional requirements and document these requirements in business requirements/ functional specification documentation.Position Accountabilities 1. Strategic management of implementation and the design of the end-state role of finance in the reporting/ review/ reconciliation process. Strategic management ensures that the approach will align with the strategic initiatives of the Controllers area (Finance Data Transformation, Reporting Process Changes, etc).2. Responsible for effective communication to the Controller and other Senior Finance personnel to ensure that critical strategic decisions are vetted and well thought out prior to implementation. Also responsible to ensure that dependencies of the project on line finance professionals are clearly defined and appropriately communicated in terms of time required to complete.3. Responsible for the critical examination of current business processes within the Controllers group, and for providing recommendations for improvement of the quality of the product of the process and the efficiency of its\' production.
