Accounting Manager - Global Accounting Description Amazon.com seeks a Finance Manager to support the Global Accounting Organization. This position will have corporate accounting responsibilities, including accounting for marketing, facilities, payroll, fixed assets, leases and other general operating expenses. This position will have direct responsibility for managing and improving accounting processes and controls for a Fortune 500 company with a high volume of transactions. This position requires a proactive, highly motivated individual with an aptitude for streamlining manual processes and who can work independently to deliver accurate and timely results. This person will be expected to drive positive change, including evaluating and streamlining of existing processes and controls. Qualifications The ideal candidates will have: MBA and CPA or CMA from a highly regarded business school, 8+ years of accounting experience (public/private mix preferred), a strong desire to exceed expectations and strong interpersonal skills, including persuasive written and oral communication skills. Solid organizational and project management skills are also required.
