Job Description:
* Target and contact customers and prospects to help develop agronomic plans and market agronomy products and services such as seed, plant food, crop protection products/services, etc.
* Responsible for contribution to overhead by improving the efficiency and effectiveness of facility and agronomy location employees
* Resolve agronomic technical problems for customers and prospects
* Utilize all technical sales tools available to up sell products and services (GPS, Grid Sampling, Precision Farming, Crop Scouting and Agri-Finance Services)
* Utilizes 90% of work time in the country to maintain current customers and attract new customers through sales activities that result in increase of profitable sales
* Respond to customer inquiries, issues and questions in a timely manner

Job Requirements:
* Normally requires a Bachelor’s degree in an agricultural-related field
* Minimum of two years experience in ag retail sales or equivalent combination of education / experience
* Excellent agronomy technical knowledge with experience in corn, soybeans & forage
* Demonstrated success in sales / agronomy
* Strong work ethic with ability to balance work / life issues during peak business
* Proven self starter with the ability to from fast business relationships
CCA certification or the ability to achieve CCA certifications within first two seasons
* Must have / maintain a valid driver’s license & be insurable by the company’s carrier
