Job Description:
Adecco is currently recruiting Diamond Graders! Do you like detailed work that emphasizes quality and precision? Do you grasp new information quickly? Would you like to receive paid on-the-job training and begin a career grading diamonds? If the answer is yes, you should consider an entry-level career in Gemology! Our client is expanding their diamond grading staff to meet the growing needs of the diamond industry. They offer great benefits with educational requirements and opportunities. .
The next training date is September 2, 2008 in Carlsbad, CA. Early applicants will have the best chance at this rare opportunity. As a Diamond Grader you will perform the identification and analysis of diamonds, identify and document clarity characteristics on a plot diagram, assign polish, symmetry, clarity and color grades using a grading system. The initial training will be thorough and last 3 months, during which time you will be PAID!
Relocation Assistance available for out of area candidates.
Job Requirements:
Skills / Requirements Each candidate must possess:
• High school diploma/GED
• Bachelor's degree (B.S) from four-year college or university with major in Earth Sciences preferred (Not required)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to grasp new information quickly
• Desire to continually learn new information
• Able to take constructive criticism
• Basic Computer Skills (Windows)
• Ability to use a Microscope
• Good decision making skills
• Able to sit for long periods of time
