Job Description:
Overview Responsibilities include monthly and annual financial closings, management reporting and analysis, and physical inventory control, coordination and reconciliation for all Pelham, Mount Vernon, JMS, Hollowware and the Wood Shop manufacturing activity. Coordinates and oversees annual projects as required for standard cost development, budgeting, and others as required by management. Responsibilities Prepare monthly and year-end closings. Lead financial reporting and cost analysis projects including the development of standards and revaluation, absorption analysis, make vs. buy analysis, variance analysis and budget development. Provide daily technical support and guidance for subsystems, including physical inventory reconciliations and coordination. Includes bill of material and routing review and approval of cost sheet details. provide departmental management and training. Build partnerships within and across departments to promote efficiency. Qualifications BA/BS in Accounting with 10+ years of cost accounting experience.
