Required Level of Supervision: Minimal. Communication of the status of open projects with Division manager on a regular basis. Must posess capacity to work independently as required. Supervision Exercised: As manager, responsible for work quality and providing instruction to work assigned to staff members. Maintains an awareness of performance strengths and weaknesses of staff. Encourages improvement when assigning and reviewing work while promoting team atmosphere. Qualifications Required Knowledge/Abilities/Skill Set: Strong analytical skills are essential. · Complex banking business practices knowledge of collections, loss mitigation, foreclosure, asset management and REO operations. · Concepts and practices relating to project management and team leadership. · Working knowledge of auditing techniques including sampling, testing documentation and reporting of results. · Effective communicator (written and verbal). · Capacity to identify control deficiencies and recommend effective remediation plans. · Demonstrated success as team leader, motivator and member. Experienced in coaching and providing verbal and written feedback to employees. · Exhibits accuracy in work product by showing attention to detail, follow-up and organization. · Advanced knowledge of mortgage default operations. · Experience managing team of professionals. · Effective utilization of Microsoft Office suite. · Ability to work independently and as key member of audit team. · Capacity to independently research and evaluate complex issues. · Effectively oversee and/or conduct medium- to high-risk projects. · Maintain objectivity and make judgments in consideration of the practices and goals of the Default organization.
