Job Description:
Responsibilities Under the general direction of the Group Business Manager, and in accordance with corporate policy, manages the financial activities of a Group with annual revenues totaling million to $99.9 million. Directs the daily financial operations of Senior Controllers, Controllers, financial and administrative staff in financial activities including budget management, cost accounting, financial analysis and financial reporting to accurately reflect the financial position of the Group managed and to assist in achievement of financial results against annual plan. Interacts with all levels of management and staff within the Group and in billing, contracts and sector/corporate as necessary to resolve problems and provide accurate, timely, user-friendly reports on program and project status. Suggests changes to processes and procedures to improve quality, efficiency, and internal and external customer service. Provides assistance with proposal completion and contract pricing, as needed. Analyzes financial reports and takes action on adjustments, establishes reserves and works with group, operations, and division management to maintain financial stability within the Group. Directs and oversees the budgeting process for the Group, to include preparing monthly financial analysis reports on financial performance and other reports requested by management.
