Job Description:

Perform and manage audits of financial accounting and internal operational controls to ascertain compliance with internal policies/procedures and best Perform and manage examinations and reviews to ensure compliance with SEC, FINRA and other regulatory requirements. Provide executive management with reports on audit findings, root causes and provide recommendations on areas for improvement in business processes and internal controls to prevent/minimize future control risks. Monitor management achievement of corrective action plans from prior audits to ensure complete follow-through and closure of identified risks.Lead staff to ensure work is completed efficiently and effectively in accordance with the internal audit program and with minimal disruption to business partners.Periodically meet with the external auditors to ensure optimal audit coverage and an efficient, economical coordination of efforts.
