Responsibilities include: Accounts receivable management Settlement accounting oversight and reporting Preclose reporting Cash logs Provider refund accounting Management of monthly close process Revenue & claim accounting support by plan Balance sheet reconciliations Membership determinations / updates Current month operating results / estimates monthly close reporting Statutory reporting oversight Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field. CPA certification and/or MBA degree preferred. At least 5 years of progressive work experience in accounting, including professional staff management experience. Public accounting experience is strongly preferred. Demonstrated technical accounting skills and strong working knowledge of financial systems, statements and reports. Demonstrated financial internal control skills and knowledge. Experience in financial close process and understanding of the complexities around this process; ability to summarize and articulate financial results Proven analytical and project management skills. Excellent ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
