Job Description:

Firm is looking for a Staff Accountant that should have at least 3+ years of experience including processing, account and bank reconciliations, working on month-end close and assisting with preparation of financial statements. The staff accountant will also prepare ad-hoc reports for upper management and be willing to take on additional responsibilities in the department. The ideal candidate will have an entertainment and/or ad agency experience. This position reports to the Accounting Manager. Duties and Responsibilities: Overseeing processing of AP Processing of accounts receivable including invoicing, posting of receipts and collection calls Preparing month-end journal entries Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations Bank Reconciliations Amortization schedules Assisting with payroll entries Assisting with special projects Excellent verbal and written communication skills 3+ years of Accounting experience with understanding of nd SOX compliance Bachelor Degree in Accounting is a plus Experience with payroll processing is a plus Must be proficient in Microsoft office.
