Job Description:
Provides leadership in the development and coordination of the overall development strategy and the full range of project management plans, processes, change management and other procedures, and system changes to ensure full system implementation and operational effectiveness are within designated timeframes and approved budget resource levels. - Directs the routine and ad hoc analyses and evaluations of Agency resources to ensure the optimal means of achieving approved goals and objectives. - Provides technical advice and guidance relative to accounting systems models interface problems, and data/field requirements. Oversees development of policy and guidance for planning and implementing an integrated system that is compliant with the mandates and requirements of the and other applicable laws and directives. Designates a senior system accountant representative or team lead in working groups to discuss new regulations; to provide authoritative information and advice on information technology issues; to furnish accurate and realistic time, cost, and manpower estimates and reasonable predictions of practical success or outcome, and to advance a sound basis for resolution of difference.
