Job Description:
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Minimum of eight (8) years experience as a project manager (commercial interiors). 2. Proven ability to lead design development and contract document phases of projects. 3. Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively and efficiently with clients, staff and other disciplines especially city and code authorities. 4. Significant experience working on healthcare projects. This background must be the primary focus on your career, with your previous five (5) years working almost exclusively on healthcare projects. 5. Proficiency with AutoCAD for the purpose of schematic/design development phases, mark-ups for construction documents. 6. History of leading a team of 2-3 people, including delegation of work, allocation of staff, keeping the project within scope and time parameters. 7. Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture. 8. Architectural registration (Texas) (California a plus) and/or Registered Interior Designer. 9. Multiple registrations and/or preferred. 10. Experience with due diligence issues particularly zoning, codes, building types, etc. experience preferred. 11. Thorough knowledge of general interior design/architectural practices with extensive experience in all areas/phases of healthcare work; including medical office buildings, professional offices, specialty clinics (dialysis clinics a plus), marketing, proposal preparation and client relations. 12. Experience in all aspects of project design and management including working with code officials and authorities. 13. This is a principal track appointment contingent upon level of experience and qualifications, ability to develop new business and maintain client relationships. 14. This is a unique opportunity to personally influence the development of an established commercial interiors firm's healthcare practice.
