Job Description:
The scope of the position requires that the project manager direct, guide, and coordinate a single project or multiple projects simultaneously. Manage architectural projects from schematics, through construction documents and construction administration phases. Appropriate presentation, personal and business, is required. Represent Architects in all communications with the client from initial effort, throughout the entire course of agreement activity, and in post-agreement marketing activities on a regular basis. NOTES: Residents Only. commensurate with experience Requirements Expertise in Project Management methods & technique Select, evaluate and implement procedures and techniques used on projects. Manage and supervise production, interior design, and administrative staff as needed. Provide marketing support and presentations Agreements: Prepare and/or review, in coordination with the Principals, the Client Agreement (the written expression of client expectations and the firm\'s commitments) o Define scope o Define schedule o Educate self and client as to terms o Attends negotiation meetings Inform client of services available beyond scope requirements for future service contracts Know client\'s: o Organization o Key people o Sensitivities Maintain understanding of project financial issues including: o Credit ratings o Terms of agreement o Changes in agreement scope o Billing process o Settlements Schedule and record all meetings Insure follow-up on decisions Monitor performance of client responsibilities and communicate deviations to client.
