Job Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW: Assist the Property Manager with the day-to-day operation of the community. To tend to the maintenance needs of the residents of the community. To maintain a clean, orderly, well working apartment home community. RESPONSIBILITES: Responsible for refurbishing and inspection of apartments before resident occupancy. Ensure completion of all resident work orders. Perform heating and air-conditioning related repairs, pool maintenance, snow removal, etc. See Position Description for complete listing of duties. Early work hours for snow removal required. REQUIREMENTS: Must be responsible for taking calls for after-hours emergency maintenance. Able to perform electrical, HVAC and plumbing repairs, drywall work, painting, caulking, basic carpentry, and appliance repairs. Able to lift 100 pounds. SELECTION CRITERIA: Apartment maintenance experience highly preferred. HVAC certification required. Must have basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair skills, or extremely strong technical aptitude with relevant work experience. Candidates must have personal, reliable transportation. Candidates must complete a background investigation.
