POSITION TITLE: Staff Accountant (Fixed Assets)
REPORTS TO: Manager of Fixed Assets
LOCATION: Denver, CO
DEPARTMENT: Accounting

This position will be responsible for Fixed Assets processed for company and any of their subsidiaries. This position will include, but is not limited to the following:

• Manage the overall accounting for Fixed Assets to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all asset related accounts

• Review existing Fixed Asset records to ensure proper set up and documentation

• Maintain proper records and documentation for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance

• Provide internal management with financial data related to Fixed Assets

• Responsible for account reconciliations, quarterly analysis

• Provide support and assistance for any audit requests

• Provide both internal and external customer service

Additional responsibilities will include supporting the monthly close process, accounting research, audit support, financial reporting assistance and special projects as needed.

Skills and Experience Required

• BS or BA in Accounting or related field required

• Previous Fixed Asset experience and knowledge preferred

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

• Oil & Gas industry experience preferred

• Strong analytical skills

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Some travel may be necessary. Overtime is possible during critical periods like month end.
