Knowledge of communications technologies include: modulation/demodulation techniques, error detection/correction codes, antennas, network protocols, optical systems, radio frequency propagation, and electronic warfare. You will conduct studies of current and future communications systems to determine their effectiveness, susceptibility to countermeasures, and technical risk. You must use judgment and originality in determining course of action, using advanced techniques and approaches, or extending existing theories, precepts or practices.
