Job Description:
Accounting Manager in Denver office will be responsible for oversight of the ongoing analysis and support for the regional business operations of an international, publicly traded organization. This will include the timely and accurate reporting of sales, cost of products sold, transportation and distribution. Additional duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, direct supervision of three Staff Accountants, accounting support for various production divisions, analysis and contribution towards preparation of annual budget, review of monthly journal entries, reports and account reconciliations, supervision and review of monthly site reconciliations and additional site analysis and support, accounting and analysis support for Marketing division and ongoing functional compliance with SOx key controls. Candidates straight out of public accounting are encouraged to apply as well! Minimum of five years experience in accounting and finance; a portion of which was concentrated in a supervisory or leadership role Proven experience in successful system and process development/implementation Knowledge of US Experience working within documentation and compliance framework Experience with SAP (including Business Warehouse) and Microsoft Office products Ability to work independently and interface with various levels of management in a multi-task, deadline oriented, decentralized yet team-oriented environment.
