Job Description:

This position will directly report to the Senior Vice President of Accounting and Finance. The responsibilities include: ensure that fund and management company accounting records are maintained in accordance with stated policies and procedures; review monthly closing binders; review financial, management, and investor reporting packages on a monthly and quarterly basis; coordinate preparation of year-end audit schedules; assist the independent auditors with audit engagements; oversee relations with the fund administrators to ensure timely and accurate delivery of information pertaining to fund financials; ensure proper coordination between accounting, finance, operations and tax; establish individual staff goals & key objectives; manage to the established goals; perform analysis of general ledger and investment activity to resolve issues; review budget and cash flow analysis; review asset valuations to determine legitimacy; ensure accounting procedures are adhered to based on compliance policies and fund operating arrangements; facilitate special projects as deemed necessary by management; experience in alternative investments (Hedge Funds).
