Additionally, the firm is looking for someone with strong leadership and mentoring skills in order to internally develop the tax department staff. Lastly, the person must have in-depth understanding of technical accounting to be qualified resource for the firm. Required Skills: Essential duties and responsibilities Develop relationships with current and new clients and employees. Proficient in preparing tax returns including individuals, corporations and partnerships for a variety of clients in various industries. Demonstrate knowledge of technical tax requirements. Has a working knowledge of commonly used computer applications. Develops tax research techniques.
