Job Description:

The responsibilities include: manage the timely filing of fund tax returns; coordinate the preparation and review of fund tax returns with tax engagement teams; assist and supervise staff with the preparation of tax workpapers and tax returns; review tax workpapers and returns; respond to and resolve Internal Revenue and State Tax Notices; prepare tax estimates for members; ensure that tax reporting is in compliance with Federal, State, and Foreign tax laws; ensure that tax allocations are in accordance to operating; agreements; determine tax filing requirements of each entity; work closely with investment team to provide federal and state tax consequences for proposed acquisitions and sales; oversee the appropriate backup and storage of tax ;workpapers and returns ; assist accounting staff with tax information reporting; assist accounting staff with payroll and other tax related issues; review and maintain tax policies and procedures; ensure that tax policies and procedures are adhered to based on compliance and fund operating arrangements; facilitate special projects as deemed necessary by management; establish individual goals and key objectives; manage the established goals
