Job Description:

Responsibilities for this position include; Responsible for the preparation and review of federal, state and non-US quarterly and annual tax provisions and final consolidation. Responsible for updating quarterly and annual Tax Accounting procedures to ensure compliance with required Sox control objectives. Interact with corporate business segments to obtain required information to properly compute the consolidated tax provision as needed. Manage budget and staffing requirements. Manage special projects as directed by tax management. Responsible for compiling information supporting the Company's tax disclosures. Assist in tax accounting supporting the and divestiture process (held-for-sale, discontinued operations, restructuring). Provide tax accounting support relating to the review of accounting processes for tax contingencies and audit settlements. Work with the financial planning group on tax forecasting and projections as needed. Maintain communication with outside auditing firm's tax and audit team on tax accounting issues and interim/year-end close processes as needed. Account for Federal and state tax impact related to FAS 123R and other compensation issues. Work with other members of Tax, Corporate Finance and IT to manage the process and develop/maintain procedures and controls with regard to tax accounting.
