Job Description:
Responsibilities: -Serve as interface among the Guggenheim, Abu Dhabi, and Frank Gehry on all spatial and technical issues throughout the design and construction process. -Provide program specifications regarding front and back of house spatial considerations, circulation of art and public, security requirements, and climate control requirements, and ensure that all information from the various areas of the museum (e.g. Curatorial, Conservation, Facilities, and Education) is provided on time to the Architect. -Provide input from the museum's perspective for the specification of materials and definition of technical solutions in the construction documents. -Monitor quality control, scheduling, achievement of objectives, and compliance with operational requirements and internationally recognized museum standards. -Participate in representation of the Guggenheim in all meetings to be held with Abu Dhabi and Frank Gehry throughout the design and construction process to ensure that the standards and spatial needs of the Firm are met throughout the design development phase. Qualifications and Requirements: -BA and MA in Architecture required. -3-5 years architectural experience preferred.
