Consulting, focuses on the revitalization and urban design needs of communities and is welcoming inquiries from experienced and talented urban designers to contribute to the broad array of revitalization services. Many communities acknowledge as a leading Western firm in the areas of downtown and neighborhood revitalization, streetscape design, community involvement, development codes, and design guidelines. Firm is seeking a talented senior-level Designer to assume a leadership role as the director of the Design in our Carlsbad Office. Applicants for the Director position will have 12 years of experience with demonstrated leadership in the field of urban design, architecture or landscape architecture. A Bachelor\'s Degree in a field associated with Urban Design, Urban Planning, Architecture or Landscape Architecture is required. The senior-level Urban Designer selected for this opportunity will be expected to: Lead and manage urban design and revitalization projects of varying sizes in diverse communities. Make public presentations, facilitate community involvement efforts, and successfully lead competitive efforts for projects. Conduct urban design studies utilizing hand-drawing techniques, AutoCAD and/or other computer-based modeling. Author products, scopes of work, budgets and schedules.
