Job Description:
Responsibilities: Conduct rigorous strategic analyses and present findings to the leadership team, including, but not limited to, budget forecasts, capital, production, and operating cost run-rate analysis, various probability assessments and other proactive insightful analyses as required by the business unit. Prepare, analyze, present and maintain business unit team level scorecard data for performance reporting purposes. Conducts financial performance analysis and prepares/presents routine management reports to the leadership team, as well as monthly outlook forecast, prepared in conjunction with business unit input. Works closely with the Controller to analyze monthly financial reports for business unit, including, but not limited to, capital, production and operating cost results. Provides analytical input for business unit result variance analysis to Business Unit Controller (Finance Team lead). Works closely with Team leads within the business unit to provide insightful and proactive analysis concerning team performance and production, capital and operating cost forecasts based upon events impacting teams. Capable of individually contributing or leading local process redesign efforts to improve system and process efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications: Very strong analytical skill set required with proven ability to break complex problems into simple components for effective communication Demonstrated ability to partner with operations with strong focus on client service.
