DECISION SUPPORT: 1) Play a leadership role in working closely with other key stakeholders to shape and guide the evolution and development of the organization's strategic analytical decision support capabilities, including benchmarking, data modeling / tools, scenario planning, performance monitoring and reporting. 2) Collect, compile and synthesize internal and external strategic benchmarking information on an ongoing basis. Inform the organization through data about our strategic position, sources of competitive advantage / differentiation and potential external disruptive forces / industry shifts in order to facilitate disciplined and well-informed strategic decision-making. 3) Drive alignment and consistency around strategic measures and corresponding data elements where necessary in order to undertake effective decision support work and required comparative analysis. 4) Build effective decision support capabilities within the team and adopt new / innovation decision support tools (where relevant) that add clearly demonstrable value to the Regions and our overall organizationTALENT / LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT: 1) Identify and cultivate talent in the strategic planning organization and drive strategic planning capabilities within non-Finance functions to ensure effective inputs to planning processes. 2) Build recruitment channels and capabilities to hire high-potential talent in the strategic planning organization. The incumbent must be deliberate in defining what talent looks like, where to find it, and how to deploy talent to realize the maximum potential and benefit for the organization and the individuals themselves.
