Job Description:

This position will directly report to the Senior Vice President of Accounting & Finance. The responsibilities include: responsible for fund general ledger activities and reconciliations; prepare monthly journal entries deemed necessary for financial adjustments, prepare financial, management, and investor reporting packages on a monthly and quarterly basis for the funds and their subsidiaries, fund performance reporting; coordinate preparation of year-end and other audit schedules; assist the independent auditors with audit engagements; assist with the coordination and preparation of tax schedules; oversee relations with the fund administrator to ensure timely and accurate delivery of information pertaining to fund financials; work closely with the operations department to seek resolution regarding reconciliation issues; assist in the coordination of coding various AP invoices for the funds and their subsidiaries; establish individual goals & key objectives. Manage to the established goals; perform analysis of general ledger and investment activity to resolve issues; prepare budget and cash flow analysis Manage overhead allocations of the funds; review asset valuations to determine legitimacy; manage cash flow of capital inflows and fund distributions; review and maintain accounting policies and procedures; ensure accounting policies and procedures are adhered to based on compliance and fund operating arrangements.
