Job Description:

The qualified candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a PE registration. Must have at least 15 years civil/ remedial design experience. Job Description : The successful candidate will manage a group of approximately 2Firm design professionals in a team setting; the technical emphasis of the group is site civil and remedial design. Responsibilities include establishing and meeting team goals, professional development of team personnel, monitoring of the team\'s fiscal requirements, developing and nurturing the strategic direction of the team, and participation in department/group and office management activities. The candidate will work under the supervision of the Engineering Operations Group Leader, and in close coordination with three other team leaders. The existing Team has a large backlog of work, the majority of which is involves Federal clients. The ability to work with other engineering and architectural disciplines, both internal and external to URS is a must. This position involves working in a supervisory mode with a close-knit team of design professionals where effective communication is an important part of the job.
