Job Description:

The Manger, Wind Engineering will manage the development of new wind engineering models for the insurance industry, working closely with a team of structural engineers, meteorologists, and statisticians. Responsibilities You will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and scientists to design, implement and validate commerical wind engineering models. You will also define model requirements with input from sales and software services teams. You are expected to investigate wind effects on buildings and investigate building damage in the aftermath of tropical cyclones and windstorms. As a new member of our Wind Engineering team you will conduct probabilistic hazard assessment and modeling and support marketing and sales iniativies related to wind products. You will also establish and manage group project schedules to achieve delivery commitments Qualifications You should possess the following: Demonstrated management leadership skills gained through practical experience Solid probabilistic and stochastic modeling skills gained through practical work experience.
