Job Description:
Responsibilities to water user organizations. Ensures Review of Operation and Maintenance examinations are conducted for all facilities constructed or financed by Reclamation in the Region, both major and minor categories. Maintains continuing close coordination with the Central Valley Operations Office and Area Managers on O&M matters. Contacts public and private agencies such as and the non-Federal operating entities to ensure coordination of specific operation and maintenance matters. Serves on project teams as the representative, providing input concerning future O&M projects during planning, design and construction stages. Provides first line supervision over Branch staff. Qualifications: Specialized Experience: In addition to meeting the above educational requirements, applicants must possess ONE year of specialized experience. Specialized experience is defined as experience that equips the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.
