Requirements: Position involves travel Major Duties: Incumbent will serve as Head of the Oklahoma Design Staff and the Multi-State Design Team headquartered in the Stillwater, Oklahoma, State Office. The incumbent will provide consultative engineering design assistance and complete designs, as requested, to the states of and Oklahoma. The incumbent will: 1. Prepares and provides technical supervision and leadership in the preparation of designs, drawings, specifications, bid schedules, engineer's cost estimates, construction performance time estimates, quality assurance plans, construction pollution prevention plans, land rights work maps, draft emergency action plans, draft operation and maintenance agreements, and all other related engineering documents required for the construction and contracting of major complex water resource projects. 2. Review engineering designs completed by other engineers for conformance to approved standards. 3. Serve as liaison to other federal, agencies and groups who have responsibilities for agricultural and design engineering issues. 4. Reviews and investigates issues relating to completed flood water retarding structures.
