POSITION TITLE: Staff Accountant
REPORTS TO: Supervisor –Operations Accounting
LOCATION: Denver, CO
DEPARTMENT: Accounting

Position Summary:
The staff accountant for the company will have responsibility for system settlements, producer payment reconciliation, accounts receivable review & reconciliation, assist with Quorum conversion & miscellaneous special projects as needed.

• Accounting resource for specific business unit asset(s).

• Prepare monthly estimates & actualization for the specific segment.

• Provide expertise to others in the company for your specific system.

• Monthly reconciliation of related accounts.

• Provide information/files upon request to internal & external auditors.

• Provide monthly variance analysis on asset for management reporting purposes.

• Other projects & responsibilities as needed & upon request, including assistance with Quorum conversion.

• Provide support to senior accountants and/or accounting supervisors.

• Occasional (1-2 annual) travel to field location.

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or finance preferred.

• Three (3) years of oil and gas industry experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.

• A minimum of two (2) years work experience preferred.

• Ability to work under high pressure & in a fast-paced environment.

• Highly motivated and team oriented individual.

• Detail-oriented.

• Excellent computer skills including Word and Excel

• Excellent organization skills.
