Responsible and accountable for managing and providing appropriate care to the Emergency patient population through the complete life cycle, under the direction of the ED physician.
Must be able, through critical thinking, to function independently, supervise others, act as a patient advocate and provide continued patient care utilizing the nursing process. Provides care in life-threatening situations using the standing orders and the written, hospital approved policies and procedures. Responsible for obtaining and maintaining required certifications

Job Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS
Ø Associates Degree Required
Ø ACLS required or eligible
Ø BLS required or eligible
Ø OR RN License Required or eligible
Ø Emergency Dept - recent experience required
Ø Every other weekend required
Ø Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required.
Ø Current certification in BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TEAM or TNCC required or obtained within six months of hire.
Ø Minimum of one year experience in Emergency or Critical Care nursing
