As a Commercial Interior Designer for Office Works, you take overall responsibility for design development with a focus on customer satisfaction. Your excellent organization skills enable you to handle a project from start to finish. And we say "start," we mean it - you'll accompany Sales staff to initial project planning meetings and work closely with the client to determine their needs, budget and vision of the perfect office. You will be deeply involved from taking accurate measurements to producing drawings to preparing for the design presentation where you will show off your exceptional creative abilities that come from your formal training and past experiences. And don't think you'll be working on one project at a time - absolutely not! That's where your multi-tasking skills will come into play - you'll be responsible for several accounts at any given time and must be able to accurately relay where you are on the timetable for each.
Job Requirements:
And because our clients expect the best, we expect the best from our employees. This means you must have a minimum of two (2) years experience in commercial interior design and a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design (or related formalized training); familiarity with design programs such as GIZA, CAD or Teknion are a must.
