Job Description:
Major duties include: The engineer will be responsible design/development of gasoline "Direct Injection" components. They will develop high pressure fuel rails and high pressure fuel lines for U.S. customers according to their specific applications and requirements. He/she will be responsible to: Support design, customer and manufacturing requirements. Engineering design support for module/components, design calculation, packaging concepts, implementation of design and fundamentals. Coordinate customer and supplier design requirements. Provide on-site engineering support at customers' manufacturing plants during launch and production. Support APQP requirements (design reviews, control plans, DFMEA, quality reviews). Do complete packaging studies of fuel system components on customer engines. Perform assembly tolerance stacks. Provide on-site engineering support at customer's manufacturing plants during launch and production. Establish and maintain contacts with vendors and supplier of hardware. Job Requirements:
Minimum requirements include: BS in engineering. BSME preferred. Minimum of 5 years mechanical and engineering experience, including engine component development.
