JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an individual responsible to support the budgeting of $80 million selling, marketing, group and IT organizations. This is a key accounting support and controls role within the RIS Group. This important role provides accounting support and direction for Information Brand Management Divisions group operations. This individual's key areas of focus include monitoring and supporting accounting operations, internal controls and compliance.
- Partner with global functional leaders to develop annual operating budgets, and periodic forecasts.
- Track, analyze, and report spending against plan, forecast and prior year.
- Support RIS Group Sarbanes-Oxley compliance by coordinating and tracking priority one sites.
- Track and monitor compliance initiatives that include balance sheet reviews and trade compliance.
- Liaison with Internal and External Audit consultants as needed.
Job Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
- Solid accounting and analytical technical skills (reconciliations, SOX, budgeting, financial analysis)
- Good communication skills - able to present ideas and results
- Creativity/innovation/flexibility
- Outstanding results orientation
- Bachelor's degree required with 2 to 3 years experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with competing/changing priorities
- Team player, able to work independently in a culture of accountability
- High growth individual sought
