Job Description:
We have an immediate opening for an Enterprise Excellence Manager focusing heavily on Lean and Six Sigma training, program development, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position will be located at our Parma, Ohio, facility.
The primary responsibility of this position is to successfully develop and implement Lean and Six Sigma training programs that promote the elimination of waste and variation in our manufacturing and business process environments. To this end he/she will:
• Develop Lean and Six Sigma Green Belt program, training, and certification.
• Perform training for Green Belt candidates.
• Train the Trainer for other GBS Managers.
• Train Policy Deployment software and perform as subject matter consultant.
• Develop corporate communications.
o Create Lean communication pieces.
o Organize global plant communications (accomplishments, best practices, input, etc.)
• Manage delivery of Kaizen event fundamentals to global sites.
• Train all Lean tools and methodologies.
• Assist in development of Lean strategic plan and Lean franchise.
• Develop employee recognition programs.
• Assist in Policy Deployment Development and maintenance.
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Business, Corporate Training, or similar field, Masters Degree preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant Business/Industry experience improving processes using Kaizen and Six Sigma methodologies.
• 2+ years of demonstrated Project Management experience.
• Six Sigma Certification and additional Lean Manufacturing Certification preferred.
• Highly skilled at Kaizen methodology.
• Ability to manage cross functional teams through an improvement process.
• Demonstrated mastery of objective accomplishment and enterprise excellence.
• Experience in Instructional design/course development.
• Technical training background in a multiple facility manufacturing environment preferred.
• Demonstrated Enterprise Excellence.
• 15%-20% International and domestic travel will be required.
