Team Overview:
The Marketing Communications department is responsible for producing all sales & marketing collateral and sales communication programs, leads distribution, and advertising efforts for AOL's Platform-A Sales Organization. The Marketing Communications team is also responsible for producing and maintaining Platform-A's internal sales communication site and external trade marketing site.
This is an opportunity to get:
Hands on experience in sales & marketing communication with one of the largest online sales organizations in the world.
Exposure to all aspects of sales & marketing communications operations: writing, editing, planning, producing, executing, maintaining, and monitoring.
Exposure to a team whose development of content is vital to the success of a national sales organization (identifying relevant program/product supply / demand, positioning and packaging of information to key constituents, etc.).
The Marketing Manager is responsible for creating sales and marketing collateral for the following verticals (as well as the AOL brands which fall into these verticals:
Mens Lifestyle
High Reach/Social Networking
Rich Media
Targeting
Video
Autos
Technology
Money & Finance
Job Requirements:
Highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
Bachelors degree
4+ years marketing experience, online a plus
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Detail oriented, ability to multi-task
A strong passion for the interactive marketing industry and desire to learn and grow
Familiarity with the PLATFORM-A network is a plus (AOL service, AIM, and AOL.com).
