Job Description:
Responsibilities will include developing and expanding product lines. Identifying opportunities for business growth through P/N expansion, new product development, and new markets/channels.Conducting research and evaluating market preferences for product, pricing, delivery, terms, competitor brands, etc. Compiling research data from established sources. Guiding the team to build and maintain databases containing critical information on products and competitors.Monitoring and directing Product Management staff to maintain project schedules, launches timelines, and produce desired deliverables. Managing pricing, margins, FOB’s, and profitability for department assigned products. Investigating methods to improve pricing methodology and profitability. Developing catalogs, e-cat data, inventory planning, packaging technical inserts, price sheets, collateral materials, and advertising. Developing strategies to increase sales and market share. Improving methods to secure new customers and increase existing business. Providing sales training and data support. Investigating new methods to market products.Working with product suppliers to improve business, profitability, and program quality.Negotiating terms and conditions of supply agreements. Maintaining regular contact with suppliers.Identifying new supply opportunities with affiliates and potential outsource partners.
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years Automotive Product Management experience Must be proficient in MS Office Applications.
