Job Description:
Position requires a minimum of 80% travel. Responsibilities will include sales for various DENSO products to include Heavy Duty Engine Electrical (EE), Diesel Fuel Injection (DFI), Small Engine and Industrial Spark Plugs, and other miscellaneous products. Promoting sales of previously mentioned products through sales channels including but not limited to EE and DFI CD/SD networks, Fleet Specialists, OES Dealer Network, Small OEM’s, Spark Plug WD’s, Installers, and Jobbers. Providing sound and effective management of Regions’ accounts to increase sales, market share and achieve Regions’ sales targets. Promoting DENSO sales programs, training and managing Distributor/Jobber sales activities to achieve customer sales forecasts. Developing relationships and generating business with all types of fleets with respective region. Expanding distribution to insure proper market coverage for the DENSO products responsible to the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Department. Analyzing customers’ performance, developing strategies, and implementing changes as needed to improve performance. Assisting in product expansion when needed by obtaining market data, competitor information, and other sales related information related to those products. Providing insight on new product proposals, marketing and sales programs. Attending industry events and tradeshows. Providing assistance to departmental management for sales planning and forecasting.
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates must possess an Associate’s degree with 5-7 years experience in Heavy and Light Duty Aftermarket Parts Sales and/or Automotive/Fleet Distributor Sales. Must have working knowledge of Electronic Diagnostic Equipment. Must be proficient in MS Office Applications. Position requires a minimum of 80% travel.
