MEMBER BUSINESS SERVICES OPERATIONSMANAGER CLASSIFICATION Full-Time FLSA STATUS Exempt DEPARTMENT Member Business Services
ľ POSITION OVERVIEW Manage the operational flow and direction for business products and services while providing information and services to business members.
ƒæ ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Supervise Member Business Services support staff. 2. Develop, maintain and update business operation procedures for Credit Union branch system. 3. Oversee loan billings for business members; ensure that all loan payments are processed accurately. 4. Review daily overdraft reports and process deposits as necessary. 5. Open/close checking, savings and share accounts as necessary. 6. Responsible for loan participation processing. 7. Responsible for compliance with all applicable regulations; ensure all systems and software properly handle all business product servicing requirements for members and the Credit Union. 8. Review/prepare necessary monthly/annual general ledger reports. 9. Conduct quality control review of business loan files. 10. Perform credit analysis, loan write-ups and documentation, and loan closings/disbursements, as well as assist members with business loan questions on a back-up basis. 11. Act as liaison with Credit Union and Group departments and employees; provide training on Business Services¡¦ products and services. 12. Be actively involved with the Business Services Team in the Department¡¦s direction and decisions regarding business products and services; make recommendations to the Senior Vice President of Business Services to increase efficiencies within the Department and the Organization. 13. Cross-sell and promote Credit Union products and services to members and the community. 14. Participate in all Credit Union training, including leadership programs, and act as a catalyst for the Leadership Program. 15. Represent the Credit Union with a high level of integrity and professionalism. 16. Adhere to Credit Union policies and support Management decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner.

ľ PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Sitting/Mobility: Approximately 70% of time is spent working at a desk. Balance of time (approximately 30%) is spent moving around work areas. Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, members and outside agencies in writing, in person and over the phone. Vision: Ability to effectively use a computer screen and interpret printed materials, memos and other appropriate paperwork. Lifting/Carrying: Ability to transport files and office supplies. Stooping/Kneeling: Ability to access files in low cabinets and shelves. Reaching/Handling: Ability to input information into computer systems and retrieve and work with appropriate paperwork, equipment and supplies.
ľ PROFICIENCIES 1. Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person and over the phone. 2. Sophisticated word processing and computer database skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office software. 3. Strong knowledge of LaserPro documentation and commercial servicing systems. 4. Knowledge of laws and regulations governing business and consumer lending practices. 5. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with individuals and groups at all organization levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6. Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, organizational, problem prevention and problem-solving skills. 7. Strong analytical ability with active listening skills. 8. Ability to effectively cross-sell Credit Union and CUSO products and services. 9. Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines. 10. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. 11. Exhibit a professional, businesslike appearance and demeanor.
ľ EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Five (5) years of experience servicing commercial loans and business accounts. 3. Must have supervisory experience.
