Job Requirements:
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
1. Solid Works - minimum 5 years experience
2. Should be familiar with mechanical models of tools
3. Meet and interact with design engineers on a daily basis
4. Assist chief designer on several tooling projects
5. Efficiently document engineering designs
6. Capable of using precision instruments to measure tools and dies
7. Reverse engineer existing tools using Solid Works
8. Must have project management skills to be able to work efficiently independently or in a team
9. Drive sub-contractors to complete projects on time
10. COSMOS WORKS - beneficial but not mandatory
11. Mechanical shop and fabrication skills a plus
12. Special skills of adding texture to tools a plus
13. Polymer science background a plus
14. Implementation of quality control systems and improving manufacturing efficiencies a plus but not mandatory
