Job Description:
The Database Marketing team supports Marketing Communications for the Firm’s Retail clients. Database Marketing partners with the Advanced Analytics and Management Reporting teams within CMI to provide comprehensive database marketing solutions to the Firm’s Investor Services organization.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for direct marketing support of the Firm’s Investor Services organization.
• Manage all aspects of work autonomously, including writing business specifications for building marketing databases, targeting, executing, delivering and evaluating marketing campaigns
• Translate business requests into actionable plans that successfully achieve business objectives.
• Present campaign results and recommendations as well as customer insights to senior management.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of database marketing concepts, and strong communication, analytical, project management and technical skills.
• Proactively evangelize the CMI point of view across the organization and innovate concepts and processes by leveraging CMI expertise.
• Demonstrate ability to solve complex issues with straightforward solutions.
• Work in a collaborated environment with a broad spectrum of stakeholders - technologists, analysts, and business partners.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 6 years+ database marketing experience
• Experience programming efficiently and accurately in SAS and/or Unica Affinium Campaign
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill with the ability influence campaign design; articulate the business justifications for campaigns with peers, management and business partners; and explain database marketing concepts to non-technical staff
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to think and see “through the client’s eyes”

• Project Management - work on multiple, simultaneous projects while meeting internal client expectations and critical deadlines
• Campaign Evaluation - evaluate marketing programs effectively and communicate findings to senior management
• Programming – effective use of SAS & Unica to define, deliver and evaluate marketing campaigns

6 years+ database marketing experience
