Manager of Career Services – Work Opportunities Unlimited
Seeking an energetic professional to lead our Career Services Division in Annapolis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and expanding a new program in the area and managing a team of Career Resource Specialists. He or she will be accountable for assuring the program’s overall success.
Founded in 1982, Work Opportunities Unlimited was established to provide direct community employment opportunities for people of varying backgrounds and skill sets. We provide service to adults and youth requesting both supported employment and competitive employment. Work Opportunities Unlimited provides community based employment support to individuals with barriers to employment, assisting in job placement, development and direct support in a community vocational setting. We believe all people can work, and we create new opportunities for success in the workplace everyday!
The successful candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree and bring the following work experience to the position:
¨ Created and successfully implemented a business service improvement.
¨ Successful candidate must be able to articulate clearly the concepts that led to success.
¨ Developed and managed a budget for an extended period of time.
¨ Demonstrated leadership.
