Job Description:
This person will utilize best practices to create and maintain cost-effective, high quality compensation and benefit programs. Accountabilities: Ensure administration of the company’s compensation and benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life and disability, transit, time off, leaves of absence, 4Firm1k, bonus programs, etc. Develop and implement/deliver training programs and communication materials to ensure consistent and effective understanding and application of compensation and benefits programs through HR people and all levels of management. Monitor pay structures, guidelines and compensation policies in order to develop and ensure consistency and competitiveness. Analyze appropriate salary and wage survey information for application at the company. Prepare job descriptions, conduct job evaluations and salary surveys; establish salary structures, develop salary budgets and prepare policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of equitable and competitive employee compensation. Lead the incentive plan design process to align with company objectives. Effectively communicate plan to participants. Keep informed of new trends, developments, laws, and regulations related to the administration of compensation and benefits. Complete annual non-discrimination testing, coordinate annual audits and supervise preparation of reports and applications required by law to be filed with federal and state agencies, such as IRS, DOL, insurance commissioners, and other regulatory agencies. Handle benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution. Maintain contact with insurance companies, employees, and beneficiaries to facilitate proper and complete utilization of benefits for all employees. Coordinate all aspects of annual open enrollment including but not limited to: conducting renewal meetings with broker, preparing communications, providing training, ensuring accurate and timely data transmittal to HRIS and carriers, etc. Prepare and present analysis and presentations.
