This Assistant Director, Human Resources plays an important role in the success of Astellas by being responsible for directing human resource policies and programs that support achievement of the companys business objectives. This is a partnership role with the management of the sales and marketing organizations as well as an employee advocate on business issues. The position directs human resources activities for the sales and marketing organizations within Astellas, functioning as a human resources generalist. Additionally the incumbent is to stay informed of competitive practices, ensuring the companys polices and programs are designed to attract and retain employees while complying with state and federal laws and regulations. Position Requirements Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business, or equivalent experience required. Masters degree preferred. Seven to ten years related experience required including working with field sales organizations. Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry and management experience preferred.
